In rare instances, a class that a parent signed up for may be canceled for the upcoming or current session. If this occurs, that parent will have the option to switch to another class time or receive a refund.
One makeup class will be offered each session if a student must miss a class (dependent upon availability). Additional make-up classes may be granted for extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis at the teacher's discretion. Make-ups must be completed during the current session. If a parent would like to attend a particular class as a make-up class, they must notify the teacher in advance and receive permission to attend. Parents are encouraged to notify their teacher in advance if they will be absent from an upcoming class so that more makeup slots will be available for other students.
If a parent or child must cancel enrollment for circumstances outside of their control (i.e. moving out of state), they will be refunded a prorated amount for the remaining weeks, subtracting $30 from the total amount to cover costs for materials and processing fees.
For the benefit of all other children, parents must keep sick children at home. The teacher or business reserves the right to send a child home if they are visibly sick.
In the case of an emergency, the teacher or someone at the facility will call 911. Neither The New Old School of Music, LLC nor the facility has medical staff available, and they cannot provide emergency or other medical treatment.

Our school operates by appointment only. At this time, lessons are offered in person and masks are optional. If you are feeling sick, please don't come in! Let us know as soon as you can, and with reasonable notice, we could either convert your lesson to a virtual format or arrange for you to make up the time. For the Early Childhood Music Classes, temperature checks at the door and a strict cleaning protocol of the instruments are to be expected.
